Frank Cremer's homepage

This homepage resides on the WWW server of the electrical engineering study
association ETSV Scintilla. I have been an active member of
this association for several years. I first started working on Scintilla's
monthly semi scientific magazine De Vonk.
Then I joined the board and after that I was most of the time active for
Scintilla's Operator Team, keeping Scintilla's
network running and building some net applications, see below.
In March 1997 I finished my Master of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering at the
University of Twente. Since August I
have been working for
TNO Physiscs and Electronics laboratory in the Hague. I joined the
Electro-Optics group of the Observation Systems division. Currently I am
working on several image processing projects.
My email address has changed: if you need to contact me you can reach me
at Cremer@kivi.nl. Email to
my old address frank@scintilla.utwente.nl will be forwarded to
this new address.
Current (and less current) projects
-
Scintilla's WWW counter.
A simple WWW access counter using no centralised database, with some nice
features like automatic reset, statistics, etc.
-
Campus net browser, for Campus use only.
Based on samba's package this cgi-bin program allows you to browse the
windows network neighbourhood, using just a (simple?) browser. This gateway
is restricted to local (ie Campus) use only, because of load and copyright
considerations. However information about the
SMB2WWW and the source are freely available.
Other activities

Hiking
My last hike was through Europe's last desert (Spain, Andalucia)
in March / April 1998 (6 days, 80 km). See also
Nico Vermaas' journal about this
trip(local copy).
