BRAINS: slim en zuinig

Thursday 02 December 2021 20:00, Concordia [Universiteit Twente]

Computers, smartphones and data centers consume energy. Prof. dr. Dr. Hans Hilgenkamp (UT) and Prof. Dr. Wilfred van der Wiel (UT) – founders of the Center for Brain-Inspired Nano Systems (BRAINS) – think this should be done better. In doing so, they look at the art of the human brain, which can deliver great performances while consuming only a few calories. Come to this Science Café for a fascinating mix of nanotech, artificial intelligence and neuroscience!

Talk show host: Peter Timmerman, Studium Generale UT. In collaboration with Arago, Atlantis, Astatine, Scintilla, Inter-Actief and Ockham, KIVI and Scientists for Future.

Thursday, December 2, 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Concordia
