After a night of hiking, seeking, games and drinks, our camping Scintilla members woke up to the smell of freshly baked eggs. Alexander had woken up on time and fulfilled the duty of (coffee) bartender and main chef. After breakfast it was time for our morning activity. With Tim ‘safely’ fastened in the seatbelt of Robert’s bike, we cycled to the nearest forest for a game of live quartets.
As the lustrum book committee is hard at work with the finishing touches of the lustrum book, its presentation will be held the 8th of october.
The sight of 50 students working diligently on a problem, you would expect that this happens during a particularly difficult course, but it happened at the Bowtie Tie Workshop Lunch. Here the students got a quick course in how to tie their Lustrum Bow Tie, which is an essential attribute during lustrum activities.
On the 9th of September 2015, E.T.S.V. Scintilla has reached 50 years of age. This 10th lustrum and second lustrum lustrum could not pass by unnoticed. The Zilverling entrance was upgraded with a big inflatable Abraham and Scintilla flag. Our flag was also waving at the main entrance of the University together with the Dutch and European flags.
While the various Lustrum committees (we'll introduce them a bit further in this post) are making the final preparations for the parts of the Lustrum they're responsible for, lets take a look at the first activities coming up and introduce all the people that make the lustrum possible.
