Laying the foundation for smart industrial installations

Are you curious about how electrical engineering is applied in high-tech factories and process installations? During your internship at Iv, you’ll contribute to innovative projects in the industrial sector, where safety, reliability and energy efficiency take centre stage.

You’ll support our electrical engineers in designing and developing electrical systems – from power distribution and lighting to emergency power supplies. You’ll work on projects in sectors such as the food industry, pharmaceuticals, or chemical processing. Think, for example, of constructing a new dairy factory or upgrading an existing facility with modern technology. You’ll learn how to draft schematics, select components, perform cable calculations, and coordinate your designs with other disciplines.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside colleagues in mechanical engineering, architecture and process automation. Depending on your learning goals and interests, we’ll tailor the content of your internship to give you a broad view of the profession and help you discover where your strengths lie.

Leg de basis voor slimme industriële installaties

Ben jij nieuwsgierig naar hoe elektrotechniek wordt toegepast in hightech fabrieken en procesinstallaties? Tijdens je meeloopstage bij Iv werk je mee aan innovatieve projecten in de industrie, waarin veiligheid, betrouwbaarheid en energie-efficiëntie centraal staan.

Je ondersteunt onze E-engineers bij het ontwerpen en uitwerken van elektrotechnische installaties, van voedingssystemen tot verlichting en noodstroomvoorziening. Je werkt aan projecten in sectoren zoals de voedingsmiddelenindustrie, farmacie of chemie. Denk aan de nieuwbouw van een melkfabriek of het upgraden van een bestaande installatie met moderne technologie. Je leert hoe je schema’s opstelt, componenten selecteert, kabelberekeningen maakt en je ontwerpen afstemt met andere disciplines.

Je draait mee in een multidisciplinair team waarin je samenwerkt met collega’s van werktuigbouwkunde, bouwkunde en procesautomatisering. Afhankelijk van je leerdoelen en interesse stemmen we de inhoud van je stage samen met je af. Zo krijg je een breed beeld van wat het vak inhoudt en ontdek je waar jouw kracht ligt.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

• Je volgt een hbo-opleiding Elektrotechniek;
• Je hebt interesse in industriële installaties en energievoorziening;
• Je bent technisch onderlegd, leergierig en zelfstandig;
• Je denkt in oplossingen en durft initiatief te nemen;
• Je wil jezelf ontwikkelen en bijdragen aan projecten die ertoe doen.
