E.T.S.V. Scintilla

This lunch lecture will be a bit different than normal, four PhD students will give a pitch about the EE related subject their working on and tell a bit about how they experience their PhD. Each pitch will be around 10 minutes with a possibility to ask questions at the end of the session.

-> Janike Bolter from BIOS Lab-on-a-Chip will present how electric fields can be used to trap small particles and study protein dynamics.

-> Marissa Jonker from RaM and Precision Engineering (PE) will present on the design of a robotic system for handling food products in the agrocultural industry.

-> Rutger Kersjes from Power Electronics (PE) will present his project on the influence of hardware in micro electrical grids.

-> Thomas Hacket from Integrated Device & Systems (IDS) will present the process of fabricating a thermal MEMS flows sensor on the 65nm process of TSMC.
