Join our Welding Masterclass on May 26 from 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and take your skills to the next level. As an electrical engineer, you’re already comfortable with soldering. Now it’s time to turn up the heat, the scale, and the fumes, and with them, the responsibility. Welding is an essential skill for a professional ‘beunhaas’ and will turn you into a true engineer.

The WOT is well versed in stick welding, an affordable and cheaper way of welding that is used across the entire world. It is a very accessible welding method and no prior experience is required. The evening begins with a little introduction to the WOT and general instruction. After this, you weld in groups with an instructor. Overalls and workplace shoes are present at the WOT, but we recommend against wearing nylon. Hair should be tied and jewelry should be taken off.
