New Vonk Article: "A brief introduction to weird units"
With SI units you can do all sort of weird conversion stuff. Think for example about expressing time in ΩF. You do it all the time in analog circuits, but have you ever realized that saying 3.6kΩF has passed is the same as saying that an hour has gone by? These are still formal SI units, but we measure phenomena in the most strange units you can imagine. Take for example the “jiffy”.
